Overview
Chronic pain doesn’t just happen to a body; it happens to a relationship. This 4-week psychoeducational seminar is designed to equip couples with the tools to navigate the unique emotional, physical, and logistical challenges of chronic health issues.
Using the evidence-based principles of The Gottman Method, we will shift our focus from the dynamic of "Patient and Caregiver" to that of "Partners." This course focuses on rebuilding your Sound Relationship House, managing the "perpetual problem" of pain, and rediscovering shared joy.
Who Should Attend?
Couples where one partner manages chronic pain/illness and the other acts as a support system, who are looking to strengthen their bond, improve communication, and reduce resentment.
The 4-Week Curriculum: All sessions will be virtual on Zoom, Tuesdays at 7 PM
