We provide culturally relevant, evidence-based resources that equip patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and community members with the tools they need to navigate the complexities of Sickle Cell care. As part of our commitment to accessible education, we launched the #ThroughTheGenes Podcast, a groundbreaking platform that explores the evolving landscape of gene and cell-based therapies through lived experiences and expert insight. We also lead the Improving Cell and Gene Therapy Education for Sickle Cell Disease initiative, which focuses on increasing understanding, transparency, and informed decision-making around cutting-edge treatment options. Alongside programs like “Educate the Educators,” interactive workshops, and community presentations, these efforts help bridge information gaps, dispel myths, and advance health equity. Our education work ensures that no one walks this journey uninformed or unheard.
